Payments at the counter

Integrated EFTPOS
at the counter.

The invoice goes to the terminal. The payment comes back into the ledger.

01

What is integrated EFTPOS for a medical practice?

The practice system sends the invoice amount straight to the payment terminal, and the result comes back into the practice’s ledger. Nobody keys the amount twice, and the payment is matched to its invoice.

02

Which terminal does Echo One integrate with?

Tyro. The invoice goes to the Tyro terminal at the counter and the payment is reconciled into the ledger.

03

Can a practice keep using a standalone terminal?

Yes. No billing flow depends on the integration: a payment keyed in by hand reconciles into the ledger the same way as one sent from the terminal.

04

Do card details pass through Echo One?

No. The terminal handles the card; Echo One sends the amount and records the result.

05

Where do payments show up afterwards?

In the ledger beside the invoice, the claim and the receipt, so revenue and debtor reports read from the same place. Echo One is a product preview with a waiting list; availability is confirmed at launch.
